Growing History (with a capital) is dangerous business, both for who gets it and its neighbors and surrounding society.
Our world is a curious combination of real data coming directly from outside, and beliefs, myths and suggestions. It is likely that what we think "happened" to influence our present, in the same way as does the anticipation of future (and if not, they should say so now those who believe that the great economic crisis we suffer is basically a " crisis of confidence "in markets.)
